European Solidarity Corps (ESC) – Quality label decentralised (ESC50-QLA)

Objective of the call:
The European Solidarity Corps quality mark certifies that an organization participating in the European Solidarity Corps is able to ensure the necessary framework conditions for the participation of young people in solidarity activities in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps and further requirements , which are described below, which are necessary for quality assurance.
The quality mark is an organization’s entry ticket to the European Solidarity Corps. It is a prerequisite for participating in volunteering, internship and work placement activities, but does not automatically lead to a project grant through the European Solidarity Corps. Quality Mark applications can be submitted on a rolling basis (ie at any time) during the programming period.

Themes and priorities:
Depending on the type of solidarity activity in which an organization wishes to participate and its role, there are different requirements for obtaining the quality mark. Organizations can apply to take on a supporting or hosting role for volunteering activities and/or internships and jobs. Organizations wishing to support or employ participants in traineeships or jobs, both cross-border and within the country, should first obtain the relevant quality mark, unless the activity is carried out with the support of an organization that is already holder of the relevant quality mark.

Organizations can apply for the various fields of application and the different roles of the quality mark, depending on the actions they wish to participate in, as well as for a combination of several quality marks:

  • Quality label for volunteering – support and/or reception role
  • Quality label for internship
  • Quality mark for jobs
